Abstract

Ginger root is widely used in medicine.Its main active ingredients are shogaol and gingerol.These substances have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, antimutagenic and other properties.Ginger root 6-dehydroshogaol has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.Ginger extract inhibits the action of leukocytes on damaged tissue.The zingerone substance in ginger has strong anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antispasmodic properties.Untreated ginger extract cures skin inflammation.Alcoholic extract of ginger root is used in pneumonia and inflammation of the respiratory tract.
